How RAS Luxury Skincare Is Taking Raipur’s Farm-to-Face Beauty Across India

4 Min Read

Founded by three women, RAS is combining botanical sourcing, in-house product development and a growing retail presence to build an Indian premium beauty brand.

RAS Luxury Skincare is taking a business rooted in Raipur’s farms to a wider Indian audience. Through online platforms, physical stores and investment in research, the company is expanding its presence in premium skincare.

Its identity centres on a “farm-to-face” approach: sourcing botanicals from family-owned farms and partner farmers, developing formulations internally and manufacturing its products in-house.

For RAS, expansion involves bringing that story to customers who may first encounter the brand through a marketplace listing, a shopping mall or a skincare recommendation.

The Women Behind RAS Luxury Skincare

RAS was founded by Shubhika Jain, her sister Suramya Jain and their mother Sangeeta Jain. Shubhika serves as the company’s co-founder and chief executive officer.

According to the brand’s account, the family’s connection with farming in Raipur helped shape its approach to beauty. That background became the foundation for a business built around botanical ingredients and greater involvement in how products are developed.

The founders have positioned RAS within the premium skincare segment, bringing together ingredient sourcing, formulation, packaging and the customer experience.

What the Farm-to-Face Model Means

RAS describes its production model as an integrated process spanning farms, research, manufacturing and delivery.

The company says it grows ingredients on its own farms and also works with local farmers. Its sourcing model therefore includes both cultivation and external partnerships.

A January 2026 farm visit reported by Vogue India described plants including calendula, turmeric, aloe vera and hibiscus growing at the Raipur property. The report also documented the company’s involvement in formulation, production and packaging.

From a business perspective, this level of involvement can provide closer visibility into materials and production processes. It also creates responsibilities: agricultural supply, ingredient consistency and manufacturing quality all need to keep pace with demand.

As RAS grows, maintaining that connection between sourcing and finished products will be central to the credibility of its brand.

A Product Range Beyond Face Oils

The company’s catalogue extends across several beauty categories.

Its offerings include face elixirs, serums, moisturisers, cleansers, sunscreens, lip products, body care and hair care. Products such as the 24K Gold Radiance Beauty Boosting Face Elixir have become part of its brand identity.

This wider assortment gives RAS more opportunities to serve different stages of a customer’s routine. Someone discovering the brand through a facial oil could later explore a moisturiser, cleanser or body product.

For the business, that creates opportunities for repeat purchases and broader customer relationships. The commercial value depends on whether customers find the products useful enough to return.

How RAS Luxury Skincare Is Expanding Across India

RAS’s growth strategy combines direct online sales with marketplaces and physical retail.

A March 2026 report by Inc42 identified its distribution channels as including its own website, Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, Tata CLiQ, FirstCry and Tira. The report also described a presence on quick-commerce platforms including Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart.

These channels serve different shopping habits. A brand website can explain ingredients and product routines in detail, while marketplaces offer discovery alongside competing products. Quick-commerce availability can support convenient replenishment where products are stocked.

Physical stores add another element by allowing shoppers to experience products before purchasing.

Where Customers Can Find RAS Stores

The company’s published store directory lists locations including:

CityListed location
RaipurMagneto The Mall
Navi MumbaiNexus Seawoods Mall
DelhiNexus Select City Walk, Saket
ThiruvananthapuramLulu Mall

These locations show how the brand’s physical presence has moved beyond its home city into different regional markets.

In a September 2026 interview with Harper’s Bazaar India, Shubhika Jain explained that stores allow customers to explore product textures, aromas and presentation. She also described the use of skin analysers to support personalised product recommendations.

This suggests that the stores serve an educational role alongside sales. They give customers an opportunity to ask questions, compare products and understand how the brand presents its skincare routines.

Dabur’s Investment Supports the Expansion Strategy

A significant funding milestone came on March 2, 2026, when Dabur announced that it had signed a definitive agreement to acquire a minority stake in RAS Beauty Private Limited, with an investment of approximately ₹60 crore.

The transaction was announced through Dabur Ventures, the consumer company’s investment platform.

In the announcement, Shubhika Jain said the investment would support expansion across online and offline channels, strengthen research and development, and help build the brand and team.

Those priorities highlight the work behind a national beauty business. Opening stores needs to be supported by product development, stock availability, trained employees and consistent customer service.

Sustainability and Farmer Relationships

RAS also places farming practices and waste management within its brand story.

According to its sustainability disclosures, the company uses practices such as intercropping and converts some aromatic distillation waste into compost or incense products. It also operates a bottle-return initiative called Recycle With RAS.

The company says its sourcing relationships include crop buyback arrangements with farmers.

These are company-reported practices. Their relevance to the expansion lies in whether RAS can maintain and document them as sourcing requirements and production volumes grow.

What Comes Next for the Raipur Beauty Brand

RAS’s expansion brings together three connected priorities: preserving its ingredient story, developing products and reaching customers through more sales channels.

Its Raipur origins give the company a recognisable identity. In-house development and manufacturing provide a way to connect that identity with the products customers receive.

The next stage will depend on execution across the business. Retail growth needs dependable supply, product quality and enough repeat demand to support additional investment.

For RAS Luxury Skincare, building a lasting national presence means making the experience consistent—from the first online purchase to a store visit and the decision to buy again.
