Bengaluru-based Live2.ai has raised ₹130 crore in a pre-Series B funding round led by IvyCap Ventures, as it expands a platform designed to help brands understand online conversations and act on them through marketing and commerce.
The Live2.ai funding announcement, made on October 27, comes as the company develops its AI capabilities and pursues larger enterprise deployments across international markets.
Its platform brings together social intelligence, campaign monitoring, content publishing and shopping experiences. The company also lists eight specialist AI agents intended to support tasks ranging from identifying trends to reviewing campaigns and preparing responses.
What the Live2.ai Funding Round Includes
The ₹130 crore transaction combines primary capital and a secondary component.
Primary capital goes into the company to support business growth. The secondary portion allows some existing shareholders to sell shares and receive partial liquidity.
Live2.ai did not disclose the amount allocated to each component. The full ₹130 crore therefore should not be treated as fresh spending money available to the business.
The company plans to use the primary capital to develop its AI capabilities, expand enterprise sales and deployments, strengthen regional cloud infrastructure and recruit additional staff.
The Founders Behind Live2.ai
Live2.ai is led by co-founders J Venkat, Neha Suyal and Yash Arora.
Venkat serves as chief executive officer, Suyal as chief operating officer and Arora as chief technology officer.
The business has evolved from its earlier identity as Woovly. According to reporting on the funding round, it pivoted and rebranded as Live2.ai in 2024.
Its current focus is enterprise software that connects information from social platforms with the work brands undertake to plan campaigns, manage content and generate sales.
Connecting Social Conversations With Marketing Decisions
Live2.ai says its platform monitors brand-related conversations across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, X and review websites.
The aim is to help teams identify emerging topics, understand customer sentiment and assess how people are responding to products or campaigns.
For a marketing team, that information becomes more useful when it can inform the next action. A repeated complaint might require a customer-service response, while growing interest in a product category could influence a campaign brief.
Live2.ai combines this analysis with tools for planning, scheduling and publishing posts. Its product information also describes shared content libraries, approval workflows, a central inbox and performance reporting.
The proposed benefit is a more connected process between understanding an audience and deciding what to publish or promote.
The Eight AI Agents on the Platform
Live2.ai lists eight specialist agents. Their stated areas of focus are summarised below.
| AI agent | Focus |
|---|---|
| Social Analyst | Analysis of social conversations |
| Crisis Detection | Identification of emerging risks |
| Brand Reputation | Monitoring brand perception |
| Trend Scout | Identifying emerging topics and trends |
| Campaign Auditor | Campaign reviews and checks |
| Influencer Intel | Creator and influencer intelligence |
| Executive Insights | Summaries for business decision-makers |
| Autonomous Response | Response automation within configured controls |
The company says these agents work with a shared data structure connecting brands, creators, posts, audiences and campaigns.
It also describes human review, approval thresholds and audit records as part of the system. These features are intended to let teams review proposed actions and control execution.
The number of agents describes how Live2.ai organises its product capabilities. Their usefulness will depend on the quality of the information they process and the decisions they help customers make.
Turning Approved Content Into Shopping Experiences
A central part of Live2.ai’s offering is the connection between social content and commerce.
Its Social Wall product allows brands to collect, curate and moderate content, then associate featured products with posts. The company also provides tools for managing permission to reuse user-generated content.
For example, a retailer could select a customer video it has permission to use, attach product information and display it on a relevant website page. A shopper could then move from viewing the content towards exploring the featured item.
Live2.ai describes support for deploying content across websites, retail environments, customer relationship management systems, social channels and marketplaces.
Its analytics tools track measures such as clicks, engagement and conversions. These measurements can help a brand assess whether particular content contributes to its commercial objectives.
This is the practical meaning of “shoppable content”: connecting content that attracts attention with a route towards a product or purchase.
Campaign Management and Human Oversight
The platform also addresses the work surrounding publication.
Marketing teams can coordinate content calendars, assign tasks, review posts and compare performance across channels. These functions matter when several teams or agencies contribute to the same brand’s communication.
AI-generated recommendations and responses still need an appropriate review process. A message that appears suitable in isolation may be unsuitable for the customer, market or situation in which it will appear.
For enterprise customers, the value of automation will depend partly on how clearly responsibilities are assigned and how easily teams can inspect or correct an action.
Company Reports More Than 200 Brand Customers
Live2.ai says it serves more than 200 brands across the United States, Europe and Southeast Asia.
Names cited in reporting on the announcement include Henkel’s Schwarzkopf, Salonory, Titan Brands and Shiseido.
The company also reported that revenue grew fourfold over the previous 12 months, with 90% generated outside India.
These are company-reported figures. The announcement did not provide an absolute revenue amount, so the growth multiple alone does not establish the size or profitability of the business.
The international revenue share nevertheless helps explain the company’s emphasis on expanding its regional infrastructure and customer-facing teams.
Where the Fresh Capital Will Go
Live2.ai has identified several priorities for the primary investment:
- AI development: Expanding the capabilities of its agents and intelligence platform.
- Enterprise deployments: Supporting adoption by larger companies and global consumer brands.
- Cloud infrastructure: Strengthening operations across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
- Hiring: Adding engineering, data science and customer success staff across North America, Europe, Singapore and India.
These investments are intended to support both product development and the practical requirements of serving customers in different markets.
As deployments grow, customer onboarding, integration with existing systems and reliable support will become increasingly important.
What Will Determine the Next Stage
Live2.ai is attempting to connect several activities that brands often manage separately: listening to customers, reviewing campaigns, publishing content and measuring commercial results.
The next stage will test how effectively those connections work in everyday use.
For customers, useful measures include the time required to move from an insight to an approved action, the quality of campaign reviews and the contribution of content to measurable business outcomes.
For Live2.ai, expanding existing customer relationships and retaining enterprise accounts will help show whether its integrated platform can become a lasting part of how brands operate.
