Brilliance AI Launched in Hyderabad to Help Students, Teachers and Parents

5 Min Read

Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu introduced the education software suite, which offers student doubt support, question paper preparation, answer evaluation and academic progress reports.

Information checked on 12 October 2026

Brilliance AI, an education software suite developed in Hyderabad, was launched by Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu on 11 October 2026.

The launch took place at Taj Deccan in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The platform is designed to support educational institutions through tools that address student questions, assist with assessments and keep parents informed about academic progress.

Its announced functions cover several connected parts of education: learning a concept, testing understanding, evaluating an answer and communicating progress.

Speaking at the event, Sridhar Babu said combining modern technology with traditional teaching could improve the learning process. He also stressed the importance of protecting student information as institutions adopt AI.

What Brilliance AI Offers Educational Institutions

Launch reports identify four principal functions within the software suite.

Announced featureIntended purpose
Text- and voice-based student supportHelp students clarify academic doubts
Question paper preparationAssist institutions and teachers in creating assessments
Answer-sheet evaluationSupport the assessment of student responses
Academic progress reportsProvide parents with information about their children’s performance

These functions place the platform across both learning support and academic administration.

The potential value lies in connecting work that involves different people. Students need explanations, teachers need assessment tools, and parents need understandable information about progress. A useful system would help those activities support one another.

Text and Voice Support for Student Questions

Brilliance AI includes text- and voice-based facilities for students to seek clarification when they encounter a difficulty in their studies.

Offering both formats gives learners different ways to ask a question. Some may prefer writing out a problem, while others may find it easier to explain what they do not understand aloud.

The educational benefit would depend on the response. A useful explanation should help a student understand the reasoning behind an answer and apply that understanding to another problem.

For example, a learner struggling with a mathematical method would benefit from an explanation of the steps, followed by an opportunity to attempt a similar question. This illustrates the kind of learning support such tools could provide; the launch reports do not establish specific tutoring methods used by Brilliance AI.

Question Paper Preparation and Answer Evaluation

The suite also offers AI-based tools for preparing question papers and evaluating answer sheets.

For teachers, the potential advantage is assistance with recurring assessment work. If the tools perform reliably, they could help educators spend more time interpreting results and planning the next lesson.

However, producing an assessment and deciding what it should measure remain closely connected. Teachers need questions that match the material taught and marking criteria that reflect the expected level of understanding.

The same consideration applies to evaluation. An answer may demonstrate partial understanding or arrive at a valid conclusion through a different method. Institutions considering AI-assisted marking would therefore need to understand how results can be reviewed and corrected.

The launch coverage does not specify which answer formats the platform handles or publish independent evaluation-accuracy results.

Academic Progress Reports for Parents

Another announced feature is reporting that helps parents follow their children’s academic development.

The practical value of a report is the conversation it enables. Parents and teachers could use clearer information to discuss where a student is improving and where additional support may be useful.

For instance, a pattern of difficulty in one topic may suggest a need for focused revision. That is more actionable than treating an overall score as the only measure of progress.

Reports would still need context from teachers and the student. A change in marks can prompt a discussion, while the people involved help explain what support is appropriate.

Sridhar Babu Calls for Technology Alongside Teaching

At the launch, Sridhar Babu highlighted the potential of AI to improve learning and make educational institutions more efficient.

His remarks emphasised combining technology with established teaching methods. That approach places digital tools within the wider work of educators, who explain concepts, judge understanding and respond to individual needs.

A broader reference point is UNESCO’s guidance on generative AI in education and research. It calls for an approach that preserves human agency, protects privacy and assesses whether tools are educationally appropriate.

That guidance provides context for evaluating education technology; it is not a certification or assessment of Brilliance AI.

For institutions, the relevant question is how a platform changes day-to-day learning and teaching, and whether those changes produce useful, demonstrable results.

Data Security Was a Central Part of the Launch

Sridhar Babu also stressed that AI adoption must be accompanied by stronger attention to privacy and digital security.

Referring to the NEET paper-leak controversy, he highlighted the need to prevent breaches and protect information held by educational institutions. He called for responsibility, transparency and accountability in the use of AI.

Those concerns are directly relevant to the functions announced for Brilliance AI. Question papers, student responses and progress reports require clear decisions about who can access them and how they are handled.

For an institution evaluating the platform, useful details would include access permissions, record retention and the process for correcting or removing information.

The minister’s comments establish security as a priority for adoption. They do not, by themselves, verify particular security controls or certifications for the product.

Pricing, Availability and Rollout Details

The launch reports reviewed for this article do not specify subscription pricing, supported curricula, language coverage or the number of institutions using the suite.

They also do not establish a statewide deployment across Telangana government schools.

Further product information would help institutions understand suitability, implementation requirements and support arrangements. Demonstrations and classroom trials could show how the announced features perform with actual teaching material and student responses.

What the Launch Could Mean for Education Technology

Brilliance AI brings together functions aimed at three groups with different needs: students seeking explanations, teachers managing assessments and parents following progress.

That combination creates a practical opportunity. Better connections between questions, assessments and feedback could help institutions identify where support is needed and respond more effectively.

The next stage will be to show how well the software performs in classrooms. Evidence of useful explanations, dependable evaluation and clear reporting will be more informative than the feature list alone.

For Brilliance AI, the launch introduces the proposition. Its longer-term value will depend on how effectively educators and learners can use it.
