Beyond Appliances Raises ₹110 Crore for New Products and a Manufacturing Plant
The Bengaluru-based smart kitchen brand will use the Series B investment to strengthen research, expand production and introduce more products for Indian households.
Beyond Appliances has raised ₹110 crore in Series B funding, with Fireside Ventures leading the round and Dharana Capital and other investors participating.
The funding, announced on 6 October 2026, will support research and development, a new manufacturing plant and expansion into additional kitchen appliance categories. The Bengaluru-based company also plans to widen its retail presence as it builds a larger consumer appliances business.

Funding for Product Development and Manufacturing
The investment gives the company capital to develop new products while expanding the manufacturing capabilities needed to produce them.
Beyond Appliances plans to enter two additional kitchen appliance categories. In an interview with ETEntrepreneur, co-founder and CEO Eshwar K Vikas said the company expected to introduce an oven-related category within the following nine to 12 months.
The company also outlined an 18–24-month focus on research, product engineering and manufacturing capacity. These are development plans; the funding announcement does not mean the new factory or products are already operational.
For a hardware business, the two areas are closely connected. Product development establishes how an appliance should work, while manufacturing determines whether that design can be produced consistently and at a commercially workable cost.
The Founders Behind Beyond Appliances
Founded in 2024, the company is led by Eshwar K Vikas as co-founder and CEO and Rakesh Patil as co-founder and CTO.
The founders brought experience in commercial kitchen technology into the household appliances market. In its earlier investment note, Fireside Ventures highlighted their engineering background, in-house production capabilities and use of consumer feedback in product development.
That approach places everyday kitchen problems at the centre of the business. The commercial challenge is to turn those insights into features that customers find useful, while keeping the products dependable and straightforward to maintain.
What the Company Currently Sells
Beyond Appliances’ existing portfolio includes Android chimneys, Plug-N-Play chimneys, smart hobs and cooktops.
Its website illustrates the different needs these products address. The Android chimney range combines ventilation with a digital display, while the Plug-N-Play range is marketed for installation without ducting or core cutting. Its cooking appliances include models with timer functions and automatic ignition.
These are examples of the company’s product positioning. The appeal to a buyer will depend on kitchen layout, cooking habits, installation requirements and the usefulness of individual features.
A wider range could give the business more opportunities to serve the same household, particularly when customers are fitting out or renovating a kitchen.
Retail Expansion Into 10 Additional Cities
The company sells through its own direct-to-consumer platform, online marketplaces, offline retailers and experience centres.
Its reported offline presence currently covers Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Over the next three years, Beyond Appliances plans to add 10 more cities, taking that footprint to 14.
Physical retail can give shoppers an opportunity to inspect an appliance, compare its dimensions and ask about installation before purchasing. Online channels provide another route for product discovery and ordering.
The company also says customer referrals contribute 15% of revenue. That makes the experience after purchase commercially relevant: installation, service and product reliability can influence whether an existing customer recommends the brand.
Fireside Ventures Continues Its Backing
The Series B follows a $4 million Series A round in August 2025, led by Fireside Ventures with participation from Dharana Capital. Before that, Beyond Appliances raised $2 million in seed funding in November 2024, also led by Fireside.
The latest investment extends that relationship as the company moves into a more demanding phase of product and manufacturing expansion.
Fireside’s original investment rationale emphasised product innovation, production capabilities and consumer feedback. The new funding provides resources to develop those capabilities further, although commercial results will depend on execution.
What Comes Next
The next milestones will be progress on the manufacturing plant, the introduction of additional product categories and the planned expansion of the retail network.
Each part needs to support the others. More stores require reliable product availability, while a larger product range increases the demands on installation teams, spare-parts supply and customer service.
For Beyond Appliances, the ₹110 crore round provides capital to pursue these plans. Its longer-term progress will depend on converting that investment into products customers choose, manufacturing quality it can sustain and support that keeps pace with expansion.
